Build a Boat. Race a Turtle. Make a Splash!
Get ready, Cape Coral! The Rotary Club of Cape Coral Cardboard Boat Regatta & Great Turtle Race is bringing a whole new level of fun to the community on February 28th, beginning at noon at SunSplash Family Water Park, 500 West Kennedy Lake Drive. For the first time ever, the Cardboard Boat Regatta is joining forces with another event—and we’re kicking off the 1st Annual Great Turtle Race!
Think you have what it takes to build a boat that floats? Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or organization and REGISTER YOUR TEAM for the Cardboard Boat Regatta! Build your cardboard creation, bring it to SunSplash, and race it across the wave pool. Whether you’re a serious competitor or just looking for a fun excuse to get creative, this is your chance to get in the race!
Then it’s time for the turtles! ADOPT A TURTLE and cheer it on as it makes its way around the Lazy River in the Great Turtle Race. Adopt your turtle, pick your team, and see if your little racer can reach the finish line first! Turtle adoptions are a fun way for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to get involved—and support the Rotary Club of Cape Coral at the same time.
